Facial Aesthetics
Facial aesthetic treatments are used to soften lines and rejuvenate. The use of different products enables the progression to a more youthful you. Wrinkle relaxing Injections and dermal fillers are safe, non surgical treatments that can improve appearance and your confidence.
Wrinkle relaxing injections can smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the upper and lower face. They involve the use of a prescription only medicine that can temporarily inhibit the activity of muscles that cause the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Most treated are frown lines in between the eyebrows and on the forehead, and the lines around the eyes (crow’s feet), but lines on the lower face can also be treated using these injections.
The treatment is a series of injections administered in quick succession with minimal discomfort. The effect develops over the following 14 days and can usually last for approximately three months.
Dermal fillers replace volume and hydration to the lower face and lips. The treatment uses hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found in the skin. Volume that is
lost over time especially in the cheeks and at the jaw line can cause lines and sagging of the skin around the mouth, i.e. smile lines and jowls.
Lips are augmented and redefined with dermal fillers, giving volume and treating lines that appear due to thinning of the lips, smokers lines, asymmetry and “gummy smiles”.
The effect of this particular treatment is evident immediately, but again develops over the following days as the product is hydrated, lasting approximately 6 months and often more, at a time.
