Fergus Machin

Fergus is a well-respected and longstanding member of the Eclipse team having worked at the practice since 2014.
Having pursued a special interest, he graduated with distinction from his 3-year Masters in Clinical Periodontology, allowing him to care for patients with complex gum disease (periodontitis).
He treats both his own patients and takes referrals.
Fergus frequently attends courses across Europe to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of periodontology and offers a range of treatment including surgical and non-surgical therapies.
In 2016, he completed the post graduate examinations to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.
Fergus also has a keen interest in teaching and has completed a PG Cert in Post-graduate Education from the University of Sheffield and is also the practice’s Foundation Dentist Educational Supervisor.
He has lectured on a number of subjects and runs hands-on courses to teach other dentists about the diagnosis and management of periodontal disease.
